Ride Profile: Space Mountain

Blast off into outer space on one of Disneyland fans favorite high-speed rollercoaster! Before starting your final frontier ride, guests enter a co ol launch bay with metallic interior and overhead lighting complete with flashing buttons and images of galaxies near and far. After boarding a sleek rocket, take off begins, but not before energy is transferred to your vessel with cool lights and windows into space. Five…. Four….. Three…. Two…..One…..Zero…. BLAST OFF! Now you will whiz through space, spiraling among the stars! For guests that enjoy fast paced thrill rides, be sure to put this on your to-do list for every visit! The ride is located in Tomorrowland, to the right of Innovations and Pizza Port. Beware however, that during summer and weekends the ride can have the longest wait time in the park. All Aboard the Disneyland Railroad!

“Your attention please. The Disneyland Limited now arriving for a grand circle tour of the Magic Kingdom...with stops at New Orleans Square...Mickey's Toontown...and Tomorrowland. All passengers stand by to board.” As you pass through the front gate to Disneyland, it is hard to miss the Disneyland Railroad station above a beautiful floral design of Mickey Mouse. To add to the Disney fun, there are two fascinating dioramas between the Tomorrowland and Main Street station. First is the Grand Canyon with sun kissed vistas and filled with native creatures like deer, mountain lions and more! Next is the Primeval World or the land of the dinosaurs! The park currently has five trains in operation: •  ...

Fantasy Faire

At last the wall will come down on March 12 th opening up a new area in Disneyland, Fantasy Faire, an extension to Fantasyland! Visitors will walk through a “Royal Hall,” where princesses will await them. Along the way, guests will be able to see scenes and characters from fairytales and movies. The Tangled Tower will be the highlight of the village square, especially at night as it sparkles with lights! Two new shows will also bring entertainment to the area, as the stories of Rapunzel and Belle are presented by vaudeville-style storytellers. A cute princess themed shop called Fairytale Treasures will be filled with dresses, accessories and other gifts. Heres a quick video of whats been happening "Behind the Wall" to this new, fun area! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOrNbjcivtY&feature=player_embedded More to come once I get a sneak preview on Friday!
