Toontown is a fun, colorful, toon-tastic place to visit! It is to the left of “It’s a Small World” towards the very back of the park. This area of Disneyland is themed from the film Who Framed Roger Rabbit. I think the most entertaining part of this area is the character houses! Kids go crazy when they are able to walk through Minnie and Mickey Mouse’s house and are sometimes surprised with a visit of the character themselves! Other character houses include Chip ‘n Dale’s Treehouse, Donald Duck’s boat and Goofy’s Playhouse (which includes a bounce house)! Beside being able to visit character houses and enjoy a fun cartoony feel, there a couple rides. The Gadget Go Coaster is a short simple but very fun coaster, geared towards kids that are starting to branch out from the kiddies ride. Tiger and lions and bears “oh my”!  Join your very own skipper as you cruise through rivers across the continenets. This journey lasts about 7 minutes once you leave the dock. The Jungle Cruise features four different rivers: •   The African Congo

Take a trip into “infinity and beyond” as you fight against Zurg and stop his army! This ride is perfect for all ages, especially little ones as it keeps them (and yourself) entertained during the attraction. Guests board a XP-40 star cruiser with 360 capabilities with your control of a joystick. Score is kept as you blast various “Z” targets, but how do you get the most points possible? Even though just pulling the trigger will get you some points (so your child cannot walk away with no points), there are ways to aim more carefully for a better score, so know your targets. Circle Targets = 100 points Square Targets = 1,000 points Diamond Targets = 5,000 points Triangle Targets = 10,000 points In addition, look for targets that are lighted, they are worth an additional bonus! If you take the tram from the parking structure to the park, it drops you off at the end of the Downtown Disney District. This lively shopping and dining promenade can add some unique fun and excitement to the park.  Especially in the evening, the area is filled with “street musicians” ranging in all styles like classical, Latin, acoustic, etc. livening the mood. In addition, at the main stage (next to the Rain Forest Café and the AMC theatre), there are often different dancers and performers, most of which, want audience participation. Recently on Friday nights starting around 7pm is swing dancing, and it has been a ton of fun, especially if you have never done it before! There is Downtown District Parking lot that is free for 3  hours (or up to 5 hours with validation).
